Worldtown Soundsystem is a live house music orchestra that fuses the culture of electronic dance music with global rhythms and a heart of soul. The group was recently featured in Billboard Magazine for their new single, “Freedom.” The ensemble’s seven members--including Grammy-nominated percussionist Pablo Batista--have roots in three continents, and every Worldtown event is a celebration of sound from around the world. Influences from Africa, Latin America and the United States are melded into a uniquely energetic live experience that pulls a crowd to the dance floor, with the mission of celebrating global culture through music and art.
