Morel began in Kutztown, Pennsylvania in 2015. Guitar player Will Gardiner and drummer Brett Flynn met during an epic kitchen jam session in the infamous neighborhood, the Cliffs! Over the years the two of them kept working on their craft with the help of many other musicians and friends. 

This naturally ignited the process of foraging up some more bandmates. The two of them played with a multitude of guitarists, bassists, keyboardist before they harvested three more bandmates. Bass player, Eliza Claffy, guitar player, Matt Vitali, and Keyboard player Jody Salani all three found themselves a home in the band. This is when "Willy and the G's" transcended into the band Morel. 

Morel is a diverse rock show with improvisational detours that can land anywhere from Bluegrass to Funk. They take influence from many different genres from many different eras, this allows them to keep their fans on their toes. There is something for everyone at a Morel show and they open fans up to styles of music that they may not of crossed paths with quite yet. Any new Morel fan should be advised to keep their mind open and their feet groovin!
